That's why you can now buy cold pressed dog food based on our meat lines.
Nowadays there are thousands of types of dog food and this makes it enormously difficult to choose the right food for your dog. In fact, there are a huge number of ways to make a dog kibble and some are better than others, but what does this have to do with?
To know which kibble is better for your dog, you first need to know how different kibbles are made. As you read earlier, at BARFmenu we offer cold-pressed dog kibble. Cold-pressed dog kibble, unlike crunchy dog kibble, is not heated when it is made. This ensures that all the nutrients in the kibble remain intact and the dog simply gets everything it needs.
Crunchy dog kibble, on the other hand, is heated at high temperatures. Because the kibble is made at temperatures as high as over 90 degrees, all the nutrients are fried out of the kibble. The kibble is harder and much less digestible for your dog. This can result in stomach torsions, as well as thinner or harder stools and stomach upset.
