The origins of BARFmenu
The foundation for all this was laid in 2006. Tineke Loeve is the founder. For several years, Tineke had already been managing the distribution of fresh pet food for various suppliers.
However, she was not satisfied with the existing supply and therefore decided to produce her own fresh food in 2010. TinLo BV was thus born; a wholesale business in pet food for dogs, cats and ferrets.
History of BARFmenu
In 2010, the first roll was produced under the name TinLo, which also appeared on the packaging. Two years later, Willem Loeve came up with a new name: BARFmenu. This name immediately clarifies what the product represents and perfectly aligns with the target audience.
BARFmenu was founded with the primary goal of promoting the health of our beloved pets. At the same time, careful consideration was given to the business aspect, as it is important for the products to also be available in large retail chains.
Future of BARFmenu
Fourteen years later, the baton is passed to Devon and Dean Loeve, Willem's sons. In 2021, the two decided to do an internship at BARFmenu. After a few weeks of actively participating, they were faced with an important decision: to quit their well-paid jobs and embark on an adventure in the family business.
With courage and perseverance, Devon and Dean took this step. Since then, they have proven themselves in the world of pet food and entrepreneurship. As of January 1, 2024, they are proudly the new owners of BARFmenu. With the same passion and a fresh perspective, they will continue the brand and work toward a healthy future for pets!
